Merry Christmas to all . . .

Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Let your heart be light
Next year all our troubles will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Make the yuletide gay
Next year all our troubles will be miles away

Once again as in olden days
Happy golden days of yore
Faithful friends who were dear to us
Will be near to us once more

Someday soon we all will be together
If the fates allow
Until then, we'll have to muddle through somehow
So have yourself a merry little Christmas now

. . . and to all a good night.

Hope my humming will make you smile as we go from blog to blog. Great idea BCB. I wish you a great many wonderful ideas, and the means to implement them.

Hello, Ms. BCB.

We are the wandering CherryBombs, out to spread cheer and good feelings. I think Gator has the pitchpipe. Hmm.

City sidewalks, busy sidewalks,
Dressed in holiday style.

A caroling we will go

With music and cheer to follow

From the one on high

To all here below

Love and goodwill for all

With Christmas cheer aglow

So sing with cheerful faces

Music and cheer for all places.

I'll be humming along...hopefully in key.

Uh huh. Police got you again, didn't they? Or did you get them?

Glad to have you with us, McB!

Got pitchpipe. Will travel. BUT youse guys gotta give me the title so's I can look it up. Can't give a pitch without a title.

Kyrie eleison. Yep. It fits if there's nothing to fit it into. Gotta go soon. Mr. Darcy is lonesome.

guewp: sounds like something to put on pecan pie.

The hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight.

Hmmmm. At last one I know.
Stille nacht, heilige nacht.
Alles schlaft, einsam wacht.

Happy holidays, BCB. This has been fun, though strange.

Good night all.

That was Scope. Nice night, BCB

For Christ is born of Mary, and gathered all above
While mortals sleep the angels keep their watch of wondering love
Oh morning stars together, proclaim the holy birth.
And praises sing to God the king, and peace to men on earth.

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas, BCB! Sorry I'm so late, but

...In the air there's a feeling of Christmas!
Children laughing, people passing, sharing smile after smile, and on every street corner you hear:

Silver bells, silver bells, it's Christmas time in the city. Silver bells, silver bells, soon it will be Christmas day!

Since I was tired and lost last night I didn't sing here so I thought I'd visit today. Now you might want to stuff your ears with cotton because I'm accompanying myself on the piano playing a little song I played in a recital long, long ago (and far, far away)

The Birthday of a King

In the little village of Bethlehem
There lay a child one day
And the sky was bright with a holy light
O'er the place where Jesus lay
Alleluia, oh how the angels sang
Alleluia, How it rang.

And the sky was bright
With a holy light
T'was the birthday of a king
T'was the birthday of a king.

Found any 35 year old sheet music while you've been sorting and packing? Obviously I did.

Merry Christmas, BCB!

We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
And a Happy New Year!

I may be late, but I'm loud. Hope I didn't wake you too early this morning!

Have a wonderful Christmas day with lots of smiles and laughter!

Thanks for the Christmas caroling! My computer crashed the other night (I think at McB's site) and I have not had access to a computer since then. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and take care of yourself.

Fa la la la la la!

KayT, if you're driving too fast down the Internet highway, then I'm sorry to say it's easy to crash your computer. Hope it gets better soon.

And speaking of feeling better soon, BCB, take care of yourself! All that singing was marvellous -- if I knew you were coming I'd a made some hot chocolate -- but your poor throat is probably a bit sore now. Here, I'll send you a virtual hot toddy. That should help.

vnycjg - oh, sorry. Had to clear my throat.

qpkouruf - and blow my nose too.

Re: your comment on the B&G about email from lurkers. How do lurkers send you email? If I don't get email, does that mean I have no lurkers? I would prefer to have no lurkers.

BCB said...

LTL: if you click on "view my profile" over on the sidebar, there is an option there to send me email. Some people do. And lurkers are not bad; they are just people who are reading a blog and, for whatever reason, choose not to comment. I'm a lurker on several blogs. I imagine you are too.
